Catching up and being sick

I'm still trying to catch up a little bit on some of the past since I just started the blog.  I didn't want to leave EVERYTHING out, although I'm leaving a ton out.  On Saturday we went to the movie and before we went Bryson said he wasn't feeling very well, but I really wanted to go so he said we still could.  So we went and he started feeling worse throughout the movie.  He has been in bed with a high fever, throwing up, and the rest the comes with it.... Poor guy.  I have felt so bad and just tried to use my nursing skills to help my husband for the first time.  He finally is feeling a little better today so we were looking at some pictures, here are a few...

A day trip to Flagstaff to watch my cousin Haylee play volleyball ( don't know what the whole tongue thing is all about, but this is the only picture we had)

We went on a cruise for Spring Break, or so we thought!  We booked the cruise and were so excited until we realized we booked on the week AFTER Spring Break, haha.  Everything worked out and our professors were helpful and understanding and we had an AMAZING time!

(Shanda, Lacey, me)
We went with my whole family and my uncle Marks family, along with a few other family friends from Thatcher.

The last dinner on the cruise with my whole family, minus Mckay on a mission and Brightyn who had to stay home with her grandma Call

As we were looking through the pictures, we looked at most of his mission pictures.  I am so grateful he served such an honorable mission! I love his stories and the things he learned that you can only learn on a mission.  He went to Sydney, Australia, lucky!! Such a beautiful country.

So green!

He is very proud of taking this picture, he is known for taking sunset pictures

The day he went home, with his mission President and his wife

And this is of my birthday last month, it was during finals as usual, which always stinks, but he took a break from studying and we went to dinner and went to the mall to get me a new outfit.  Such a good hubby!

Hard at work! Studying for Ochem final

Before dinner

And last, my birthday present!! I had been wanting one, but they are so expensive I didn't think I would get one for a while.  But I was surprised with this from Bryson, my mom, and his mom for my birthday.  I love it!!! Thank you!!

Wedding!!

Now some wedding pictures.  I LOVE my pictures.  One of my good friends Shayna flew down from Utah to do my wedding.  I am so grateful for her and her friendship.  She captured this day so well and I remember the feelings I had every time I look at the pictures.  We got married in the Gila Valley Temple and I'm so glad we chose to get married there.  I had a hard time deciding because my whole life I had always imagined the Mesa Temple because that was the closest temple.  The feelings of being in my hometown and knowing close to every temple worker that was involved, made my wedding such a personal experience.  Not only for me, but for my whole family.  It was such a great day!! I'm so grateful for the temple in the Gila Valley!!

Our friends and family waiting for us outside the temple

The Gila Valley Temple!

I love the 2 birds flying up there

My family! I'm so blessed
(minus McKay, on a mission)

Brysons family, love them!! So blessed with amazing in-laws, they treat me like their own
(minus Haley, Devin, and twins Atticus and Tristan)

My bouquet! I found a picture of what I wanted and got it made to match perfectly!

Yes this is real, he's a stud!
My reception was so awesome! It was everything I wanted.  Big thanks to my mom for doing all the work.  She did such a great job and helped me out so much! She relieved me from tons of stress.  I love you mom!

Loved my cake!

My very favorite picture of them all!!!

Engagements

Here are a few of our engagement pictures.  We had such a fun time taking them and are so happy with how they turned out.

One of my favs!

This picture is a perfect shot of a real moment! There was a "bad word" on the page we happened to open up to and I was dying laughing.  It was pretty funny!

Starting out...

Well, I decided to jump on the band wagon and join the blogging world.  It seems that once you get married it's the thing to do!  Although we don't have kids yet to post cute pictures and posts about, it might help me take a break from my homework!

So to start off, how we met... My mom and Bryson's parents went to school together in Sierra Vista.  My moms little sister Lisa and Laura (Bryson's mom) were best friends.  So my mom, Lisa, and Laura all hung out together.  So that is the background, skip a few years when our mom's grew up and had kids.  When Bryson and I were 5 and 6 years old we met for the first time at my family ranch.

This is us at the ranch, we LOVE this picture!! I look so much bigger than him, #1 I'm a year older #2 I'm closer to the camera... those are by excuses.
Neither of us remember this but we have a picture to prove it that I will post later.  But years after that instance is when we actually remember meeting.  Bryson went to EAC for one year before his mission and I was in nursing school there.  We knew of each other and hung out a few times, but nothing more than that.  I then finished school and moved up to Mesa and was working as a nurse and he served a mission in Sydney, Australia.  When he came home in May 2010, I posted "Welcome Home!" on his Facebook page with no intentions of anything happening.  His plan was to go to nursing school and claims he "had some questions about nursing" so he started talking to me about that, haha.  So it all took off from there, he was living in Tucson and drove up to Tempe every weekend for a couple months so that we could see each other. In July he ended up moving here and enrolled in school and changed all his plans for ME!  Long story short we dated....got engaged on November 5, 2010... got married December 17, 2010.  Happiest day of my life!!

Since then I have never been happier!  I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing man that treats me like a QUEEN!  We are both working and going to school so we have a busy life together.  I am working full time at the hospital as a nurse and going to ASU in the RN-BSN program and finish the program in August, about 6 weeks left, but I'm not counting....  Bryson plans to go to dental school in about 2 years, so he is just finishing up his bachelors and working part time at M&I bank.  He will apply to schools next summer and then we will head off to dental school somewhere summer of 2013.  Starting our life together is so exciting, but scary at the same time.  So many decisions!!  But it is fun to be doing it together.
